I wanted to write a quick section about Kevin and I so you will be able to know a little more about our lives outside of our adoption! So here goes.....Kevin and I have been married since March 2005. Kevin is the worship/youth/technology pastor at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. We have been in Louisville since April 7, 2012. We are excited to see what God has in store for us in KY! Kevin graduated from Liberty University in 2007 and I graduated from TN Tech University in 2008. We truly believe that Jesus is worth our time, energy, and devotion and we strive to share God's love to those we come in contact with. We pray that our adoption will be an absolute testimony of God's grace and kindness. Please pray for our ministry and our child in Africa. Blessings to you and your family. We are so thankful for your support!

Went to Debbie and Kevin's open house last nite; it was very informational. I will continue to pray for a quick adoption process, financial assitance with ths process, a healthy baby/child and to keep that child safet until they are safely home with Kevin and Debbie.

Hi! My husband and I are in the very beginning stages of adoption (as in, we just decided to adopt and have decided which agency to choose!) but I stumbled onto your blog via Pinterest & I love it! I will be praying for you two & know that God is with you! Thank you for putting your adoption adventure on blogspot to share with the world. You have touched my heart and I look forward to keeping up with your story!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and video (which I stumbled across when looking for videos about the DRC on youtube). We just submitted our contract for an adoption from the DRC...a concurrent adoption as we're also waiting for a child from Ethiopia--but that adoption will be awhile. I look forward to watching your story unfold!
